The Hut Community Centre has a well equipped Community Shed immediately adjacent to the centre of Aldgate, where hills residents can come and work on their own individual projects or help make items for The Hut’s fundraising activities.
Shed Supervisors with experience working with wood are on hand to provide general advice and guidance, and support community members in their project design, wood selection and use of machinery and tools.
Space is also available for craft activities including painting, craft workshops, mosaics and more.
The Community Shed is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12 midday for both men and women.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits and a supportive and inclusive environment supplied!
