We are excited about our new Community Café partnership with AHH Lifeskills and their social enterprise venture Miss Sunshine Coffee Van. You’ll find Miss Sunshine at The Hut in the car park near the Community Shed on Monday mornings and all day Tuesdays serving coffee and sweet treats with a smile. Grab a takeaway or sit for awhile and relax in the shaded Sensory Garden or Nature Play Area at The Hut.
AHH Lifeskills offers training, social engagement and pathways to employment for people with disabilities to help prepare them for open employment. Miss Sunshine provides a fantastic opportunity for AHH to raise awareness in the community, connect with others and make great coffee. Miss Sunshine at The Hut is a wonderful way for us to support the important work of AHH as well as creating another welcoming space for community members to spend time here at the centre.
