‘Sparkies’ are volunteers who care about building meaningful connections in our Adelaide Hills community, and through this together we take action against loneliness.
Are you concerned that our communities are becoming increasingly disconnected? Did you know that 1 in 3 Australian’s experience loneliness? Would you like to find meaning, purpose and connection in supporting others to feel welcome and find belonging? Have you or do you experience loneliness yourself and would like to share in being part of a solution?
We know that it takes courage for people to join something new or reach out to build connection – Sparkies provide a friendly face and help to gently host Spark groups so that people feel welcome, supported and included.
Current opportunities include –
Co-Hosting a fortnightly Spark Conversation group at Miss Perez Kitchen & Bar Stirling Thursdays 5.30-7pm
Co-Hosting a fortnightly Spark Conversation group at Karkoo Nursery Oakbank (time tbc)
