Nature Playgroup – for families with children aged 1-5 years

When: Each Friday, during school term (27th April – 3rd July 2020)

Commencing: 1 May
Time: 9.30am – 11.30am

Cost: $18 per session (payable in full at the start of the term) or $14 per person with a valid healthcare card (4 places) – $5 more per session for additional children

A group of families gathering weekly with a leader to share play, song and story in a beautiful natural location. There is craft for the adults, warm tea and good conversation-an opportunity to grow a like minded community in a beautiful setting. We share songs and a warm morning tea. A leader to guide and support families during this time. A nurturing opportunity for young families. Limited places available, so we advise you to register your interest now.

This playgroup relies on the contribution of each family to  be sustainable. As such we request that families complete full payment two weeks before commencement of each term. Reimbursements can only be made on cancellations if another family can be found to fill the place. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this causes you. This is a trial program. Family Beginnings – for families from pregnancy until walking

When: Each Friday during school term (27 April to 3 July)
Commencing: 1 May
Time: 12:45pm – 2:45pm
Where: Aldgate Valley Hall grounds, Nation Ridge Road
Cost: $18 per session over 10 weeks or $14 per session with a valid healthcare card (4 places  – $5 more per session for additional children

Gather each week with other new parents to talk about pregnancy, birth and new parenthood as well as child development. Learn about care practices, growing resilience and grounding rhythms and talk about self care. Ask a few questions and sip tea in good company. A safe and nurturing space for parents and little ones. This is a special program with experienced teacher and playgroup leader Kate McMurray.

Neighbour Day 2020

Your local community centre, the Hut, is holding a BBQ lunch, so call on your neighbours or bring a friend and head on down to the Hut Community Centre and share connection with others.

Repair Cafe 2020
