Join Kate McMurray for a 2 hour workshop to learn this unique, wax resist egg dyeing technique and create your own beautiful piece in the Ukranian Pysanky style.

During the workshop you will hear about the history of egg dyeing and natural techniques.  Kate will teach you how to create your own design using a kistka, (a special stylus that holds liquid wax) and will show you the process of applying and layering wax and dye until your final piece is revealed.  This is a truly unique craft form which can be replicated at home with the kit which you can purchase for an additional $15 on the day.

Children over the age of 9 years old can attend with supervision of an adult.

Join David Booth, proud Warramungu & Yuggera man, artist and hills resident for a special 2 week program for all ages.

David is from the Warramungu people, North East of Tennant Creek, NT and has traditional links to the Yuggera people in Brisbane, QLD. David has been playing the Didgeridoo and performing traditional dance since the age of 10. He also shares his stories through various forms of artwork. David uses his art as a time to relax, reflect on his environment and observe the changes that occur as each season transitions. Inspired by nature his creativity flows onto the canvas.

Join David for a special 2 week program of storytelling, dance and music for all ages.
