For functions and larger group events, the Aldgate Valley Community Hall (AVCH) provides space for up to 50 people in a theatrette style or up to 15 people in a meeting-style format and is ideal for a kids’ party or teenage sleepover!
The AVCH is located just a few minutes drive from Aldgate town centre at 32 Nation Ridge road. The Hall has an enclosed fenced off outside area – ideal for keeping kids in check or a perfect setting for a tranquil lunch, plus a flat area of grass perfect for a marquee or kids’ bouncy castle.
AVCH facilities include a kitchen (own supplies required), with a commercial refrigerator, toilets and a BBQ available for community use.
Cost for community groups is $10.00 per hour, $20/hr for others. All day bookings are $55 per day for community groups and $110 per day for others.
Overnight sleepovers (7pm – 12 midday) are just $75.
All hirers must have public liability insurance. For family and private events, a copy of the home/household policy or written advice from your insurer confirming cover of events outside the home is required.
All kids/teenage parties must be supervised by a responsible adult and no alcohol is to be consumed by under age participants.
It is highly recommended that on extreme or catastrophic fire danger days a risk assessment is conducted with a view to cancelling the booking if deemed unsafe. A full refund will be given in this instance.
$300 bond is required for all private parties.
$50 key deposit is required for meetings.
