No Interest Loans Scheme

The Hut offers no interest loans to residents of the Adelaide Hills on a low income, to buy essential goods or services such as fridges, washing machines, or lounge suites. Loans have been approved for car repairs, furniture, computers, gophers, air conditioners, funeral expenses and shower screen replacements. Other items that significantly improve your quality of life may also be approved . The typical loan is normally $1,000 and is repaid over 12 - 18 months. To be eligible you must be a bona fide resident of the Adelaide Hills Council or surrounding districts for more than 6 months.
