About Hills Connected Communities

The Hills Connected Communities project is a SA Government funded initiative coordinated by a consortium of four Adelaide Hills community centres and Mount Barker Council with the aim to increase social connections within community. The Community Centres involved are The Hut Community Centre at Aldgate, Mount Barker Community Centre, Torrens Valley Community Centre (Gumeracha) and The Summit (at Norton Summit).

Hills Connected Communities is working to:

  • Identify gaps in service delivery and create programs/services which address needs and improve social connections, and
  • build upon the strengths of each organisation to share knowledge, resources and develop a more strategic approach to planning, implementation and evaluation of services.

If you are a family with children, individual with an area of interest/knowledge to share or are you just wanting to connect better with members of your community contact us or register for one of our activities or workshops.
